Who we are
AutoRemindPro is a product of MotorKare Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean MotorKare Ltd. We are the data controller for your personal information.

What data we collect
When you use AutoRemindPro, we collect:
Account information — your name, email address, and phone number (if you choose to receive SMS or WhatsApp reminders).
Vehicle information — your vehicle registration number, and the MOT expiry, road tax status, make, model, and colour returned by the DVLA.
Reminder preferences — which notification channels you have chosen (email, SMS, WhatsApp) and your preferred lead times.
Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number.
Usage data — notification delivery logs (sent, failed, timestamps) to ensure the service works correctly.
How we use your data
We use your data to:
Provide the AutoRemindPro service — looking up your vehicle details, creating and sending reminders, managing your account, and processing subscription payments.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for marketing unless you opt in. We do not share your information with advertisers.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data under contract (to provide the service you signed up for) and legitimate interest (to maintain and improve AutoRemindPro). Where we send marketing communications, we rely on your consent.
Third-party services (data processors)
We use the following services to operate AutoRemindPro. Each processes your data on our behalf:

Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (from Settings), we permanently delete all your data — account details, vehicles, reminders, and notification logs — within 30 days.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
Access your data — see what we hold about you. Rectify — correct inaccurate information. Erase — delete your account and all data. Restrict processing — ask us to stop using your data in certain ways. Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format. Object — opt out of processing based on legitimate interest.

Cookies
AutoRemindPro uses essential cookies only — for authentication (keeping you logged in) and security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
