About these terms

These terms apply to your use of AutoRemindPro, a vehicle reminder service operated by MotorKare Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

AutoRemindPro tracks MOT expiry, road tax renewal, and vehicle service dates for UK-registered vehicles and sends automated reminders by email, SMS, or WhatsApp. We retrieve vehicle data from the DVLA vehicle enquiry service.

We aim to send reminders reliably, but AutoRemindPro is an information service — not a legal obligation tracker. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is road-legal at all times. We are not liable for missed reminders due to incorrect data, service outages, or delivery failures by third-party providers (email, SMS, or WhatsApp networks).

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at hello@motorkare.co.uk.

You may only create one account per person. Accounts are not transferable.

Free and paid plans

AutoRemindPro offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. The features available on each plan are described on our Pricing page.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the free tier. No refunds are given for partial months.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose. Attempt to access other users' data or accounts. Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service (other than our published API, if applicable). Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Data accuracy

Vehicle data is sourced from the DVLA and is provided “as is”. While we make every effort to keep information current, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of data from third-party sources. If you notice incorrect information, please update your vehicle details in the dashboard or contact us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotorKare Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of AutoRemindPro. This includes (but is not limited to) fines, penalties, or costs incurred as a result of missed reminders or inaccurate data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

Intellectual property

All content, branding, and code within AutoRemindPro is owned by MotorKare Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without our written permission.

Changes to the service or terms

We may update these terms or change the service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page in your dashboard. This permanently removes all your data, including vehicles, reminders, and notification history. This action cannot be undone.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
